Following months of careful indexing and scanning the first delivery of Records from Murchison House left Edinburgh on Monday 9th February for relocation to Keyworth.

Each folder and container is barcoded and is associated with the barcoded shelf location at Keyworth to make sure that they can be quickly and accurately retrieved when requested.The respective Records Teams managed the physical handling at either end of the operation; happily the weather was on our side and all 49 pallets were unloaded and undercover by the end of Tuesday morning.
